Based in the practice of Kripalu Yoga, the hatha yoga classes at Mountain Spirit Yoga create a safe place for you to explore your body and its deep connection with your mind and spirit. Professionally trained by the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Carla McAdams is also certified in Prenatal Yoga by the himalayan Institute, and has also taken coursework in yoga for a healthy back, yoga for scoliosis, restorative yoga, yoga for Seniors and chakra yoga. She has also practiced in the Anusara and Iyengar styles, creating a blended practice that nurtures and strengthens, releases tension, opens the body for meditation, and creates a joyful heart.
