Tai Chi

Tuesday 8:15-9:15 AM

Tai Chi is an excellent form of exercise that enhances joint mobility, balance and bone density.  It relieves stress and promotes meditation as it creates calm and balance in your life. Tai Chi is very beneficial for those with arthritis, scoliosis, heart disease, and age-related balance problems.   The internal art of Tai Chi is standard therapy in China for most ailments, and is increasingly used in the West as a treatment modality. Taught by Rob Johnson.

Pilates Mat Workout

Wednesday 8:15-9:15AM

Pilates mat work is a series of exercise performed in a specific sequence designed to create a flow of movement.  Pilates helps individuals develop long and lean muscles and a strong and balanced central body core (abdominals, lower back, buttocks, and hips).  Learn the basic mat exercises as you improve core strength, posture, flexibility, and tone your muscles while you reduce stress and fatigue.  Taught by Sandy Ferris.

Yoga for Seniors

Wednesday 11:30AM-12:30PM

This class is specially designed to address the effects of aging on Seniors.  Join Carla McAdams and strengthen your body to improve balance, stretch muscles and stabilize joints for greater mobility, and increase vitality in all your organs.  Yoga postures, breathing, and meditation will be taught.
