This fall Mountain Spirit Yoga is adding a moderate class on Tuesday evenings, as well as offering a tai chi and pilates mat class on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.  Thursday evening moderate class has a new time, and Saturday Times Two returns.  Visit the classes page for all the details.

      Based in the practice of Kripalu Yoga, the hatha yoga classes at Mountain Spirit Yoga create a safe place for you to explore your body and its deep connection with your mind and spirit. Yoga classes offer detailed instruction in the proper alignment  of  your body in a balanced sequence of yoga postures (asanas) that both stretch and strengthen your body, integrating breath and movement in a focused flow of energy. Kripalu Yoga practice develops vitality in the body, calms the mind, and deepens self-awareness, as well as enlivening your life “off the mat.”

      Professionally trained by the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Carla McAdams has also taken coursework in yoga therapy and practiced in the Anusara and Iyengar styles, creating a blended practice that nurtures and strengthens, releases tension, opens the body for meditation, and creates a joyful heart.
